I recently had a fantastic experience with my Collins Family Movers team, Miguel, Andrez, Nestor and Rocky! I was downsizing from a very large 5 bedroom home to a much smaller townhouse. The challenge for the team was to fit everything into the new place, Most of it had to be stacked and squeezed into the basement! They were so patient, as I directed them to put items in various spots in the new home. I have a couple fragile family pieces. They packed and moved them with great care. They were also quick and efficient, given the huge task at hand. Very reasonably priced. I had another quote come in from a well-known Chicago mover I used in the past, and Collins saved me thousands of dollars, With no drop in quality. This may sound like It’s an over the top review, But I’m so happy with this team and how well they treated me and what a great job they did. I will definitely ask for these specific guys, when my children find their new place in Chicago. Thank you, Miguel and rest of team!

Miguel, Andrew, and Rocky did a really awesome job with my move, they were friendly, efficient, and very expert with moving.My only complaint is not at all related to the crew because they were great! I was scheduled to start between 8-9am originally, then the owner called the afternoon before to tell me they needed to move it back to 1-3pm, which created an inconvenient situation where my partner’s moving company truck and my moving truck were at our new place at the same time. We figured it out, but definitely not ideal to have the last-minute time change. Still rating 5 stars because the crew did a stellar job.

Great service, and Berto,Elias,Adrian and Joel were a fast moving team with good communication and always proving ways to be helpful beyond just moving the furniture. While some issues came up with some of the item we moved, Richard was able to resolve it quickly and professionally which I highly appreciate. Second time using these guys and definitely plan on coming back if my next move is local.

Very transparent, fair, and trustworthy company. Hired for a "load only" job -- it was about $1,100 for 3 guys for 3 hours. It's not the cheapest option out there, but that's because their customer service and quality assurance standards are so high -- it was worth it for me!William, Jeremy, and Jesus helped us wrap up furniture and load boxes into the u-haul van. It was pouring rain that day, and William took care to lay down furniture pads leading up the door so their shoes wouldn't track mud onto the carpets. The guys were in good spirits the whole time, and were very helpful and pleasant to interact with.There were some things I wish were done differently - for example some boxes with "fragile" labels got packed on the bottom, so the weight of the boxes on top caused the structural integrity to fail on the bottom box. Maybe I should have been supervising the truck loading or communicated up front to make sure certain boxes got packed on top. Still very happy with service overall.

Berto and Elias provided one of the best most professional moving services I’ve ever had. They arrived on time and prepared and moved my valuables with the utmost care. I would definitely use Collins family again should I ever need moving services in Chicago. Multiple people in my building witnesses the care and thoughtfulness employed as they prepared many pieces of large and heavy furniture for the move. I usually only provide negative reviews after an awful experience, but I felt compelled to sing the praises of this crew and company. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I am moving back to California and needed some help loading up my pod for my move. Hired Collin’s Family Movers to move out of my 1-bedroom and they were amazing! From my first phone call with Rick, I knew I was in good hands! Not only was I provided with the best quote but customer service was top notch and Rick made sure to follow up with me leading up to my move.William and his partner, Samuel, showed up on time and ready to get to work. I was a little worried all my stuff wouldn’t fit in the 8x7 pod that I ordered but the guys were determine and were able successfully get everything packed and loaded in just over 3 hours.

What an exceptional experience! I was blown away with the expertise at which our move was handled. The communication was top notch from both Richard and his team. The guys were personable and truly attentive to our needs. They wrapped everything with precision and care, and handled our belongings with ease. They are truly pros!We just moved across the country last summer and another move was not in the plans, so we decided to get some help and I am so glad we did! They saved us hours of time and loads of stress. The price was extremely reasonable, and they even came in under the estimate! Completely impressed!

Nothing short of excellence! These guys did an AMAZING job and are the real deal. Communication was top notch. They asked what needed to be done and they got it done in an efficient amount of time. EJ, Uriel, Kevin, and Gusto all were personable and made the thought of moving turn from a nightmare into a fairytale. I’ll definitely request these guys the next go around.

Wow, what an exceptional quality service. It was easy to book a move date and time. The whole process was seamless from beginning to end.The three guys meticulously wrapped everything, furniture, desk, table, chairs, appliances, mirrors, etc... They carried and loaded the truck with care. They also put apart and reassemble bed sets and large table. The crew was flexible and considerate of what needed to be done. I had a last-minute situation when I arrived at my new home in Phoenix and realized just how much stuff I had packed into my U-Haul. I was completely overwhelmed and struggling to figure out how I was going to unload everything on my own.While I was driving from LA to Phoenix, my girlfriend started calling local moving companies for help. No one was available—until she got a hold of Collins Family Movers. Christian was incredibly accommodating, and I spoke with him while I was still on the road. By the time I arrived at my new home, Rajan and Nate were there within 10 minutes.These two young gentlemen were extremely professional, strong, and organized. We started around 2:30 PM and were completely finished by about 6 PM. What would have taken me three days to do on my own, they knocked out in just a few hours.Collins Family Movers truly saved the day. They were an absolute blessing, and the entire team was amazing from start to finish. I can’t thank them enough—highly recommend!PS: All this for an amazing price! Completely blown away!

Beyond satisfied! The owner, Richard, got involved and helped me with a small move (@ 35 boxes). They had been inadvertently left behind on a recent out of State move. He was quick and resourceful. He got a small cargo van , drove 12 hours straight (Goodyear AZ to Lubbock TX) and delivered my missing boxes, all for a reasonable price. This is what great customer service looks like!

Let me start by saying this, I’m not one for reviews. I’m the type of person who forgets to rate their Uber unless the driver does a backflip and knows the “exact” recipe for my favorite taco. But when Collins Family Movers moved me from my tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment to my slightly-less-tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment (progress!), I felt compelled to share my story. Because these men are the real MVPs of the moving world - like if Superman and your favorite uncle had a baby, and that baby loved bubble wrap.First off, the team showed up “on time”. Like, “punctual” on time. I was sipping my third coffee of the morning, mentally preparing to tackle the “heavy lifting” (read: crying into a box labeled “Dishes? Maybe?”), when these giants in big blue truck arrived with grins and a plan that didn’t involve me lifting anything heavier than my existential dread.- They managed to fit my “collections” (read: 17 unread books and a suspiciously large amount of expired cereal) into the truck like Tetris champions.- When I nervously asked if my lamp—a fragile heirloom passed down from my grandma (who “actually” just bought it at Walmart)—would survive, the foreman mover deadpanned, “Ma’am, we once moved a grand piano through a second-story window. Your lamp’s got a VIP seat.”- They even helped me assemble my bed post-move while I napped on the floor like a dignitary.Collin’s Family Movers isn’t just a moving company - they’re the anti-panic buttons of Goodyear. If you’re considering them, do it! They’ll move your stuff, maybe your soul, and definitely your stress into the recycling bin where it belongs.
