Everything about this company is amazing, from the initial call to scope pricing, to the follow-up and personalized attention from the home office, to the actual moving team! I have now used Collins twice - from a 1-bedroom high-rise condo to a 3-bedroom walk-up to a single-family home. The last move required a 8-man team (Miguel, Andres, Julian, William, Jesus, Arturo, Ulises and Ivan) and they hustled up and down 3 flights of stairs while maintaining the utmost care of my belongings. They double-checked with me on the location of many items in my new home and quickly put together/arranged my furniture to my liking. They worked very well as a team and made it fun by playing music to get them pumped for the heavy lifting! There is really no need to look anywhere else when choosing your moving company!

I was a bit last minute about scheduling a mover for my move on the first of the month and it was hard to find someone on short notice since I was moving to a different state, but the Collins Family Movers saved me. The week of they were able to fit me in to move on the 1st and showed up! Did an amazing job and were so efficient just being a two man crew. With the amount of items I have, they were able to do loading and unloading both in an hour. If you are looking for a mover either in Chicago or need to move to a different state, I would highly recommend Collins Family Movers. Super friendly and did an amazing job!

This was my third time using Collins Family Movers and I can’t imagine using another company. Rodrigo, Berto, and Juan Carlos were such a great team to ensure my husband and I had a smooth move. All of our belongings were treated with care and they made a very stressful process that much easier. They are knowledgeable about how to move everything to make the process as smooth as possible. They are very communicative about the moving process and transparent about pricing. It’s a great value for the exceptional service we receive.

Had a great experience with this company. The quoting, booking and actual move were handled professionally and transparently. Rick was awesome on the the phone, and William and Arturo were incredible doing the actual move. Seriously these guys were amazing—strapping multiple boxes on their backs like mountain sherpas to get our stuff up quicker with fewer trips. Both were super friendly and had great attitudes. They were extremely careful with our items and cautious around our doorways and trim. Will definitely be using Collins again.

I had to write a review because Collins Family Movers did such a great job! Miguel, Andres, Julian, Juan, Jesus, and Ivan were with us for a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath move and did a great job. The move took about 7 hours and they only took a 20 minute lunch break - they were truly dedicated to helping us to a level I haven't seen before. There was some complicated furniture disassembly and some heavy items, but they did the move carefully and with a great attitude. On top of that, Collins' pricing can't be beat. I would hire them again for a future move in a heartbeat. Thank you!

This is my second time working with Collins Family Movers. Because I had a great experience back in 2022, I decided to go with them again and I was not disappointed. The crew - Tyler, Jesus, Andreas and Juan were punctual, friendly, and professional. The move was from one third floor to another third floor with no elevators. It was not an easy move by any means but they were efficient and finished fairly quick. None of my items were damaged and they did a great job of moving some of my larger pieces (oversized couch) through small doorways. Overall, it was another positive experience and I would highly recommend them.

Collins Family Movers in general, was accessible to me from initial booking, to final touches. However, I really have to highlight my specific movers: Jose and Ivan CRUSHED my move! Looking back, the confirmed estimate was 2.5hrs at $700. They got it done in 2 hrs flat, so no additional fees accrued ($400). WOW! They were also so considerate, identifying any existing damage on my furniture as they carefully packed it up—sometimes it takes a professional’s eye to assess and explain why you might want to get a new dresser soon. These two really exemplified to me what quality service looked and felt like! They played early 2000s rap/rnb, had great senses of humor, and truly went above and beyond. Thank you Jose for pushing through cat allergies, and Ivan for going out of your way to bring up the mattress I ordered that arrived this morning! You guys really made a difference in my moving experience today. Book, tip, and have water (and grapes, if you got em 😂) prepped for these two! They mean business.

Arturo, William, and Hilberto were amazing moving me from the suburbs to downtown Chicago! I expected it to take much longer than it actually did. They were careful and handled my items like they were their own. I’ve used Two Men and a Truck the last 3 times I have moved, and I will never use them again after this superb experience. Collins Family Movers were more efficient than Two Men and a Truck, and I think the price was fair! My friend recommended me, and I would recommend Collins Family Movers to anyone! I’ll definitely use them if I move again.

I had an amazing experience. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations. I paid close attention to the contract and there were no surprises, Richard was very understanding. The guys were on time, and they handled all of my stuff with great care—wrapping everything securely to ensure nothing got damaged. Not only were they efficient with packing and unpacking, but they also made the entire process so much fun with their humor and positive attitudes. Let me start by saying this, I’m not one for reviews. I’m the type of person who forgets to rate their Uber unless the driver does a backflip and knows the “exact” recipe for my favorite taco. But when Collins Family Movers moved me from my tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment to my slightly-less-tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment (progress!), I felt compelled to share my story. Because these men are the real MVPs of the moving world - like if Superman and your favorite uncle had a baby, and that baby loved bubble wrap.First off, the team showed up “on time”. Like, “punctual” on time. I was sipping my third coffee of the morning, mentally preparing to tackle the “heavy lifting” (read: crying into a box labeled “Dishes? Maybe?”), when these giants in big blue truck arrived with grins and a plan that didn’t involve me lifting anything heavier than my existential dread.- They managed to fit my “collections” (read: 17 unread books and a suspiciously large amount of expired cereal) into the truck like Tetris champions.- When I nervously asked if my lamp—a fragile heirloom passed down from my grandma (who “actually” just bought it at Walmart)—would survive, the foreman mover deadpanned, “Ma’am, we once moved a grand piano through a second-story window. Your lamp’s got a VIP seat.”- They even helped me assemble my bed post-move while I napped on the floor like a dignitary.Collin’s Family Movers isn’t just a moving company - they’re the anti-panic buttons of Goodyear. If you’re considering them, do it! They’ll move your stuff, maybe your soul, and definitely your stress into the recycling bin where it belongs.

Talk about first class service. I was a wreck with figuring out my move from Chicago to Phoenix but Richard and his team came to my rescue. From start to finish the communication was spot on. They were early to pack up my house and even help with things around my house they didn't need to. Very respectful and professional as they went about their business. Throughout my trip I was nervous with my Harley Davidson in their care but I don't think anyone including me has ever treated her better. Richard and his team put me at ease as my Harley and entire life made their way across country. They kept updating me and even sent some pictures of my Harley on the way in different states. Loved it! Made me feel I was there the whole time but no hassle or LIFTING!!! They got to the destination perfectly on time and again went above and beyond with helping me get organized. With this service cost was no issue but what they charged me after all said and done made me a very happy customer. Beat pretty much everyone I called.
