I just had to share my experience with Enrique and Ethan from Collins Family Movers. They were amazing! They really understood my situation, moving a few items from my dad’s home (he’s a veteran) to a senior community.They were on time, super respectful, and genuinely friendly throughout the whole process. Their professionalism made what could’ve been a really stressful day so much easier. They treated my dad's belongings with the utmost care, which meant a lot to me.I’ll definitely be calling them again when I need to move some items into storage. If you’re looking for a compassionate and efficient moving team, I can’t recommend Collins Family Movers—and especially Enrique and Ethan—enough. Thank you so much for everything!

from the coordinator i spoke to on the phone to the team of movers that showed up, everyone was so professional, helpful, and kind. the movers were all really efficient with the moving process, and even hung around when i forgot my keys 🫠 definitely hitting up cfm again for my next move.

Collins Family Movers moved us from our three bedroom apartment to our house. The movers came on time and efficiently packed up all our furniture and belongings with care. They gave us a great price and we had a great experience! We would use them again (though I hope to never move again!) and recommend them to friends and family! I used Collins Family Movers for a long-distance move to Texas and had a wonderful experience. The owner, Richard, provided a fair and honest quote and was flexible with updating my truck size after concerns that I needed more space. On moving day, Tyler, Miguel and Julian all showed up on-time and handled all of our stuff with great care. Tyler drove the truck himself down to Texas and arrived as scheduled two days later. No issues with broken/damaged furniture. They even offered to move me back to Chicago if I ever need to. I would highly recommend Collins Family Movers for a long-distance move and would absolutely use them again if I ever move back to Chicago.

I recommend Collins Family Movers because I plan to call them again the next time I move. Tyler, Miguel, Julian and Andreas packed my previous 1-bedrrom apt and moved me to a new space. They were efficient, professional, and incredibly helpful. I also booked them on a coworkers recommendation.But what really set these guys apart from past movers is their really plesant and friendly attitude THE ENTIRE DAY. Even when doing literal heavy lifting. They did a great job of taking some of the stress out of my move for that reason and I absolutely would use this crew again. It reminded me of my cousins helping me move into my 1st apartment.

We had a great experience with our 6 member crew led by Tyler. All of the guys were very polite and respectful. We moved on what was quite possibly the hottest day of the year, but the whole crew really powered through the 8 hr move. The entire process from booking to the actual move was seamless and everyone was very communicative. Would not hesitate to use them again.

I had the best moving experience with Collins Family Movers! Booking was easy, clear, and fast! The morning of my move from the suburbs to the city, Ivan and Joel were on time, communicative, neat, friendly, and moved all my things quickly and safely!! I moved into an old Chicago building with some tricky aspects to getting my things up to the third floor, but Ivan and Joel did exceptional and let me unpack and get everything ready to feel like home!

We hired packing and moving services with Collins Family Movers for a recent move within Chicago. The experience was extremely positive. Tyler and his team arrived promptly on both days, and were effective and efficient packing and moving all of our stuff down and up our walkup apartments. Our items, including some delicate art pieces and furniture, arrived well-packed and without damage. On top of that, they were friendly and responsive to any questions!While I didn't get a time estimate at the time of receiving a quote, the rates were fair and the time the move took was in line with what we had been quoted from other companies. The price felt fair for the amount of work the crew put in.Thank you Tyler, Miguel, Julian, Joe, and Andreas! We couldn't have moved without you!

Every part of the process of working w CFM was great. Super helpful, the most reasonably priced service I found, and the actual moving process was completely painless (for me). All of the movers were extremely efficient and careful, and even moved a very heavy couch all while maintaining a positive attitude. Would use again.

The movers were nice and hard workers! Despite their best effort they were unable to move my piano on the day of the move. The owner Richard made it right and sent a crew out the next day to handle it. They care about their customers and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for moving services.

We used Collins Family Movers for a long-distance move (12 hours away). We were referred to them by a friend and even with the strong recommendation, they exceeded our expectations. We looked into a few long-distance move options and based on our past experiences, we were nervous about (a) having our stuff combined with others', (b) having our stuff switch trucks, and (c) having our stuff arrive many days later. Collins Family Movers had a completely straightforward process that eliminated all of these concerns -- a single truck was loaded at the starting point, the loading team drove it straight to the destination and unloaded it. This meant that we had basically no wait for our stuff, and the team (led by Tyler) knew exactly where everything went and how to reconstruct furniture. Further, we figured we'd have to pay a large premium to get such service. But instead, Collins Family Movers had an extremely competitive price.Beyond the ease of the logistics, the team was a pleasure to work with. Tyler and Richard were both in regular communication with us and laid out the full process. They were experts on every step of the move and very happy to customize things to our needs. It was truly a pleasure to work with them and we would highly recommend them to anyone. They do local moves as well, and we have heard great things about their work there.

We needed a small move between apartments and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Wrapped everything and unloaded at our new apartment took a little over an hour. And the price was much better that I had been quoted from some of the other highly rated movers. Tyler and Eathan were a very professional crew.
