This is my second time working with Collins Family Movers. Because I had a great experience back in 2022, I decided to go with them again and I was not disappointed. The crew - Tyler, Jesus, Andreas and Juan were punctual, friendly, and professional. The move was from one third floor to another third floor with no elevators. It was not an easy move by any means but they were efficient and finished fairly quick. None of my items were damaged and they did a great job of moving some of my larger pieces (oversized couch) through small doorways. Overall, it was another positive experience and I would highly recommend them.

I had a fantastic experience with Collins Family Movers! William and his crew were incredibly personable, professional, and made the entire moving process smooth and stress-free. I also really appreciated that they’re BBB Accredited—it gave me extra peace of mind knowing they’re committed to resolving any issues properly (though I didn’t have any!). I've had the pleasure of using this moving company twice, first time based on a friend's recommendation, and they have consistently exceeded my expectations. Most recently, they managed our move from a third-floor walk-up with remarkable efficiency.The team arrived punctually and gave us a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to their arrival, ensuring we were prepared. They came fully equipped with all necessary moving supplies, including extra boxes for miscellaneous items we hadn't packed yet. Their attention to detail was evident as they carefully wrapped all our furniture and electronics, ensuring everything arrived without a scratch.What stood out was their unwavering work ethic—they worked tirelessly without any noticeable slowdown. They also took care of disassembling and reassembling our furniture, which made the process seamless for us.A noteworthy example of their professionalism occurred when we realized a picture frame had been inadvertently left on the truck. Upon contacting them, they promptly returned within 30 minutes to deliver the item, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction.Communication with the company was smooth from start to finish. The management was responsive and ensured everything went according to plan.Overall, I highly recommend this moving company for anyone seeking a stress-free and professional moving experience. Collins Family Movers in general, was accessible to me from initial booking, to final touches. However, I really have to highlight my specific movers: Jose and Ivan CRUSHED my move! Looking back, the confirmed estimate was 2.5hrs at $700. They got it done in 2 hrs flat, so no additional fees accrued ($400). WOW! They were also so considerate, identifying any existing damage on my furniture as they carefully packed it up—sometimes it takes a professional’s eye to assess and explain why you might want to get a new dresser soon. These two really exemplified to me what quality service looked and felt like! They played early 2000s rap/rnb, had great senses of humor, and truly went above and beyond. Thank you Jose for pushing through cat allergies, and Ivan for going out of your way to bring up the mattress I ordered that arrived this morning! You guys really made a difference in my moving experience today. Book, tip, and have water (and grapes, if you got em 😂) prepped for these two! They mean business.

Arturo, William, and Hilberto were amazing moving me from the suburbs to downtown Chicago! I expected it to take much longer than it actually did. They were careful and handled my items like they were their own. I’ve used Two Men and a Truck the last 3 times I have moved, and I will never use them again after this superb experience. Collins Family Movers were more efficient than Two Men and a Truck, and I think the price was fair! My friend recommended me, and I would recommend Collins Family Movers to anyone! I’ll definitely use them if I move again.

i recently hired collins family movers for my move and they were wonderful! this was my first time using movers and i will never move without movers again!! miguel and julian were very quick and efficient, as well as kind. they made sure everything was packed well and nothing was damaged in the process of the move. they were able to arrive ahead of my scheduled time, which was great! thank you so much to miguel and julian, as well as the others who helped make my moving process so smooth!!

Great experience with a unique situation. Needed 2 furniture pieces hoisted over a railing with spiral stairs. Richard was able to accommodate me and a crazy schedule with the furniture delivery (who would not hoist) and his 3 guys were communicative, polite, and good at their jobs. Highly recommend Collins Family Movers and would use again!

From quote to final steps, my experience with Collins Family Movers was great, even when circumstances tested them.To start, their pricing was WAY better than others in the area, which is the only reason I was able to afford movers for more than just the big stuff.Initially, I wanted two quotes; one for the big, heavy items I can't move myself, and one for 90% of my belongings. After chatting with Richard, we planned for the second with a goal of getting it done within two hours. Richard gave advice and recommendation to help stick with this goal and made notes about the time restraint, which the movers referenced on-site.We planned my move for a Monday and they sent Jesus and Tyler, who communicated timing clearly, later agreeing to a 3-hour move.These two had their work cut out since I was moving from a third floor unit to ANOTHER third floor unit, but with a MUCH smaller back stairwell for move-ins. This seemed to be common for them because they got to it without issue. Until the couch.The couch in question is close to 80" long and has a queen-sized pull out bed. But the opponent was in the incredibly tight, almost spiral wooden stairwell up to the third floor. (This came complete with loose, unstable stairs in random areas.)All said and done, Tyler and Jesus got my couch into my unit WITHOUT damaging it, and I watched in AWE the entire time. They really had to work together to get that thing up there, and I would have rage quit 100 times.The couch debacle took roughly another hour, meaning we went even further past the goal, but I regret nothing. It was clear 45 minutes into my move that I was truly a 3-hour move, but the extra hour was worth it in spades.

I had an amazing experience. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations. I paid close attention to the contract and there were no surprises, Richard was very understanding. The guys were on time, and they handled all of my stuff with great care—wrapping everything securely to ensure nothing got damaged. Not only were they efficient with packing and unpacking, but they also made the entire process so much fun with their humor and positive attitudes. They were super kind and professional, making the whole move smooth and stress-free. I would absolutely hire them again for any future moves. 100% Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying this, I’m not one for reviews. I’m the type of person who forgets to rate their Uber unless the driver does a backflip and knows the “exact” recipe for my favorite taco. But when Collins Family Movers moved me from my tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment to my slightly-less-tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment (progress!), I felt compelled to share my story. Because these men are the real MVPs of the moving world - like if Superman and your favorite uncle had a baby, and that baby loved bubble wrap.First off, the team showed up “on time”. Like, “punctual” on time. I was sipping my third coffee of the morning, mentally preparing to tackle the “heavy lifting” (read: crying into a box labeled “Dishes? Maybe?”), when these giants in big blue truck arrived with grins and a plan that didn’t involve me lifting anything heavier than my existential dread.- They managed to fit my “collections” (read: 17 unread books and a suspiciously large amount of expired cereal) into the truck like Tetris champions.- When I nervously asked if my lamp—a fragile heirloom passed down from my grandma (who “actually” just bought it at Walmart)—would survive, the foreman mover deadpanned, “Ma’am, we once moved a grand piano through a second-story window. Your lamp’s got a VIP seat.”- They even helped me assemble my bed post-move while I napped on the floor like a dignitary.Collin’s Family Movers isn’t just a moving company - they’re the anti-panic buttons of Goodyear. If you’re considering them, do it! They’ll move your stuff, maybe your soul, and definitely your stress into the recycling bin where it belongs.

Talk about first class service. I was a wreck with figuring out my move from Chicago to Phoenix but Richard and his team came to my rescue. From start to finish the communication was spot on. They were early to pack up my house and even help with things around my house they didn't need to. Very respectful and professional as they went about their business. Throughout my trip I was nervous with my Harley Davidson in their care but I don't think anyone including me has ever treated her better. Richard and his team put me at ease as my Harley and entire life made their way across country. They kept updating me and even sent some pictures of my Harley on the way in different states. Loved it! Made me feel I was there the whole time but no hassle or LIFTING!!! They got to the destination perfectly on time and again went above and beyond with helping me get organized. With this service cost was no issue but what they charged me after all said and done made me a very happy customer. Beat pretty much everyone I called.
