I was able to talk to Rick at the beginning for quote. It was a fairly easy conversation. He did not pressure me to sign up that day and gave me a fair price. I did call over 3-4 other companies and the pressure from them was why I chose Collins Family. The software was fairly easy to use. It was to help the team estimate how much work they will have.On the day of the move, the guys got into traffic but got right to work when they arrived. They were fast and professional. Took good care of the items.If we are ever in the area again, I would definitely call them first

This was my first time hiring a moving company. I did extensive research on moving companies around the Chicagoland area and suburbs. & I decided to move forward with Collin’s Family Movers because of the great price point. What I wasn’t expecting was just HOW incredible the services provided would be from the movers and the manager. We had the pleasure of working with Austin and Berto - they both were going up and down the stairs at an insane speed. They took every precaution to take care of our belongings and furniture. They made sure that boxes were handled with care and placed in the exact rooms we requested. The manager went the extra mile for us and mounted our TV on a day outside of our designated moving day to better accommodate our work schedules. My elderly parents have an upcoming move and I will 100% be a returning customer.

We worked with Collins Family Movers for our cross-country move from Chicago to KC, and we had a great experience from start to finish. We coordinated directly with the owner, Richard, who was extremely communicative and professional. We knew they were the right company for us from the start. The cost they quoted was the cost we paid—no surprises, no added costs—and they were on time at load-in and drop-off. For the move itself, Aiden was extremely professional and personable. He coordinated two sets of movers and had all our stuff at the house exactly when he said he would…the very next morning. Load-in was easy, the crew was kind, and we can’t recommend them enough!! We felt we were in good hands the entire time. Thank you!!

Five stars isn't enough!After my original moving company unexpectedly fell through, I called Collins Family Movers in the evening hoping they'd be able to help. The owner was incredibly kind and understanding and immediately found a way to fit my move into their schedule. The owner was able to send a moving team of 3 to my house that same evening and they got right to work.Arnulfo, Hidilverto, and Axel were amazing - friendly, professional, fast, and careful with everything they moved. They worked incredibly hard and made the entire moving process feel effortless, even though I had called so late in the evening.I honestly couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. Everyone went above and beyond to help me when I needed it most, and I'm so thankful I decided to call them! I will definitely be using Collins Family Movers again in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers!

We just moved from a house to a condo. The 3-man crew - Miguel, Juan, and German - were terrific. They took great care of our furniture and other belongings. What a great experience! William, Arturo, and Jeremy were very respectful and accommodating with all our requests when we moved from Chicago to Milwaukee! These guys definitely are strong or are powerlifters! The estimate we were given was pretty accurate. William, Arturo, and Jeremy were efficient movers and helped finish the move about 30 mins earlier than we were quoted! Word of advice: disassembly of larger items definitely helps with your moving time.

I recently hired Collins Family Movers to move some valuable equipment and they did an excellent job! They called the day before the move to check in, and were actually a few minutes early which was greatly appreciated. Their rates were very reasonable and the final bill matched the estimate.12.5.25 - Just wanted to add that I hired them for two additional moves and they were fantastic! I had to re-schedule the last move twice and they were very accommodating. These were very heavy items and not all that easy to deal with. I highly recommend them!6.24.26 - Nestor and Jose did a fantastic job today! I couldn’t believe they fit everything into the storage unit. They were very proactive and professional. Collins Family Movers are always on time and the company does a great job communicating with the customer.

They were careful yet efficient, courteous and a pleasure to talk to throughout the day! They navigated some parking challenges and a tiny elevator with no complaints and helpful, upbeat attitudes. I hope that I never have to move again, but if I do, I will definitely be using Collins Family Movers! Richard was incredibly helpful, communicative, and fair. The guys hustled for nearly 12 hours, staying positive, and working hard the whole time. I was blown away by how much they could carry! I added a picture below of my man Jeremy carrying eight boxes (and then using his spare hands to pick up other things!). Special shout out to Austin for helping me twice!

Collins Family Movers recently helped my family with a long-distance move from Chicago to Michigan. I recommend them extremely highly.CFM provided full packing services on a Wednesday, and on Thursday they loaded everything onto two trucks, drove to my new home, then unloaded and set everything up (in one day!). It was a complex move. We were coming from a very full townhouse - lots of breakables, a couple pieces of furniture that required significant disassembly, a piano that had to go around a tight corner and down a flight of stairs. Everything was packed and loaded with extreme care. When we arrived at the new house, the team went to great lengths to place everything just where we wanted it, assembling all items and cleaning up nicely. Through it all, every member of the team showed a very high level of professionalism, compassion, kindness, and respect, both for my belongings and for my family members.Working with owner Richard before and during the move was also excellent. He walked me carefully through my moving options, and provided detailed quotes based on a couple different scenarios I'd asked him about. The price he quoted was in line with quotes I received from other local movers, but I went with CFM specifically because of the confidence I got speaking directly with Richard. When moving day arrived, there were no surprises: everyone was on time, the team was the size I expected, and the price was exactly what I was quoted. There was even a flub-up on my end, where I accidentally overpaid by a few hundred dollars, and Richard nearly immediately refunded the balance after the move was complete.A long-distance move with a house full of stuff is one of the most stressful experiences of a person's life. There's nothing more valuable than having a moving company that provides door-to-door service, with professionalism and transparency. Collins Family Movers went above and beyond for me in all these respects. I'm very grateful I chose to work with them, and will 100% work with them the next time I have to do a long-distance move (hopefully not too soon!).

This family moving business is the real deal. Aiden and the guys were on time, communicated during every part of the move and handled all items with care. I moved a 4 bedroom house as a minimalist and it was smooth. Customer service on this level is hard to find these days. I will be using Collins Family for all moves and even small projects. I am very impressed with the whole team and the price was beyond fair for the service. Don’t think about it book them you won’t regret it!!

Wow, what an exceptional quality service. It was easy to book a move date and time. The whole process was seamless from beginning to end.The three guys meticulously wrapped everything, furniture, desk, table, chairs, appliances, mirrors, etc... They carried and loaded the truck with care. They also put apart and reassemble bed sets and large table. The crew was flexible and considerate of what needed to be done. I had a last-minute situation when I arrived at my new home in Phoenix and realized just how much stuff I had packed into my U-Haul. I was completely overwhelmed and struggling to figure out how I was going to unload everything on my own.While I was driving from LA to Phoenix, my girlfriend started calling local moving companies for help. No one was available—until she got a hold of Collins Family Movers. Christian was incredibly accommodating, and I spoke with him while I was still on the road. By the time I arrived at my new home, Rajan and Nate were there within 10 minutes.These two young gentlemen were extremely professional, strong, and organized. We started around 2:30 PM and were completely finished by about 6 PM. What would have taken me three days to do on my own, they knocked out in just a few hours.Collins Family Movers truly saved the day. They were an absolute blessing, and the entire team was amazing from start to finish. I can’t thank them enough—highly recommend!PS: All this for an amazing price! Completely blown away!

Beyond satisfied! The owner, Richard, got involved and helped me with a small move (@ 35 boxes). They had been inadvertently left behind on a recent out of State move. He was quick and resourceful. He got a small cargo van , drove 12 hours straight (Goodyear AZ to Lubbock TX) and delivered my missing boxes, all for a reasonable price. This is what great customer service looks like!

Let me start by saying this, I’m not one for reviews. I’m the type of person who forgets to rate their Uber unless the driver does a backflip and knows the “exact” recipe for my favorite taco. But when Collins Family Movers moved me from my tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment to my slightly-less-tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment (progress!), I felt compelled to share my story. Because these men are the real MVPs of the moving world - like if Superman and your favorite uncle had a baby, and that baby loved bubble wrap.First off, the team showed up “on time”. Like, “punctual” on time. I was sipping my third coffee of the morning, mentally preparing to tackle the “heavy lifting” (read: crying into a box labeled “Dishes? Maybe?”), when these giants in big blue truck arrived with grins and a plan that didn’t involve me lifting anything heavier than my existential dread.- They managed to fit my “collections” (read: 17 unread books and a suspiciously large amount of expired cereal) into the truck like Tetris champions.- When I nervously asked if my lamp—a fragile heirloom passed down from my grandma (who “actually” just bought it at Walmart)—would survive, the foreman mover deadpanned, “Ma’am, we once moved a grand piano through a second-story window. Your lamp’s got a VIP seat.”- They even helped me assemble my bed post-move while I napped on the floor like a dignitary.Collin’s Family Movers isn’t just a moving company - they’re the anti-panic buttons of Goodyear. If you’re considering them, do it! They’ll move your stuff, maybe your soul, and definitely your stress into the recycling bin where it belongs.
