We had a great experience with Collins Family Movers. We needed to coordinate two moves in one day (with three different apartment elevator reservations needed) and the team was incredibly helpful and flexible. They talked us through our options on the phone and were very clear about pricing and timing. On the day of the move, the team (led by Joe, who was excellent) was incredibly professional, kind and thorough. They arrived on time, moved quickly and carefully, and made the entire experience seamless. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Well, I do declare, I recently had the pleasure of hiring Tyler, Miguel, and Julian from Collins Family Movers, and sweet mercy, they were just the friendliest young fellas you ever did meet. From the moment they stepped onto my porch, they started talking to me like they were old friends, asking about my hobbies and greeting two somewhat freaked out dogs. They wrapped and packed every little piece just as carefully as if it were their own grandmother’s china.Their skill was something else! I never dreamed I’d see a man carry a whole couch on his back, but Tyler hoisted it right up there and carried it like he was born with it. Miguel steered around every tight corner like he’d been doing this all his life, and Julian kept that truck organized so neat you could have eaten lunch off the floor.But the best part was how much fun they were having. They laughed and told stories the whole time, turning what could’ve been a heap of stress into a downright enjoyable afternoon. I’d hire Collins Family Movers, especially that dynamic trio, again in a heartbeat.

Collins Family Movers did a great job with a two part move for us. They communicated well with us ahead of time, arrived on time, packaged everything up, and unloaded it impressively fast and into a house with some tight corners and stairs that did not make it easy on them. Only hiccup was a scratch on a dresser that was moved but Richard Collins himself promptly rectified it. We had them recommended to us and would definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to move.

These guys are INCREDIBLE. I needed help moving all my items from a storage unit in Evanston to my new apartment in Lincoln Square, and the two-man team assigned were absolute pros. Miguel and Julian were very friendly, efficient, communicative, and handled all of my belongings with care. At the end of the move, Miguel walked me through the breakdown of my total including hourly rate, fees, and any discounts so there was complete clarity on the cost, which I always appreciate.Thank you, Miguel and Julian! Wow!!! Nothing but positive reviews for Collin’s Family Movers. They literally squeezed in our move THE DAY OF with only hours notice and were easy to contact and had such fair pricing and Carlos and Ernesto were AMAZING and literally so efficient and wrapped up everything wonderfully and were so nice and friendly and it was even raining during the move. Such nice people and did a FANTASTIC job!!!! Cannot recommend this company enough such a seamless experience from start to finish!! Thank you guys so much!!!

This was my first time hiring movers ever! I moved from out of state into a third floor apartment and I hired them for labor to move all my things I had packed in a UHaul trailer up a narrow staircase. I had no issues and enjoyed every part of my experience, from the first communications of receiving a quote, to then talking to the owner Richard himself. Had a great experience day of as they moved everything efficiently and made a point to be very careful with my items even up the narrow staircase! I enjoyed every part of my experience and if/when I move I plan to hire them for my whole moving process!I didn't do much research on how their cost compares to other companies, but I loved that it was family owned and had good reviews and as a first time city mover I outweighed if there was a cheaper option to make a choice of working with a company that was small and personable, and that's exactly what I got!

I had a great experience with Collins Family Movers! Everyone was extremely communicative, professional, and lovely from the initial quote to dealing with my wonky elevator & the heat to the final cost breakdown. Being able to enter my inventory of items on my own online before the move was also very helpful in visualizing and making sure I represented the job accurately in my description/my movers knew what to expect. Hands down the best experience I've had with movers - I would highly recommend and will be calling them up for any future moves.

Beyond satisfied! The owner, Richard, got involved and helped me with a small move (@ 35 boxes). They had been inadvertently left behind on a recent out of State move. He was quick and resourceful. He got a small cargo van , drove 12 hours straight (Goodyear AZ to Lubbock TX) and delivered my missing boxes, all for a reasonable price. This is what great customer service looks like!

I had an amazing experience. From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations. I paid close attention to the contract and there were no surprises, Richard was very understanding. The guys were on time, and they handled all of my stuff with great care—wrapping everything securely to ensure nothing got damaged. Not only were they efficient with packing and unpacking, but they also made the entire process so much fun with their humor and positive attitudes. Let me start by saying this, I’m not one for reviews. I’m the type of person who forgets to rate their Uber unless the driver does a backflip and knows the “exact” recipe for my favorite taco. But when Collins Family Movers moved me from my tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment to my slightly-less-tiny Goodyear shoebox apartment (progress!), I felt compelled to share my story. Because these men are the real MVPs of the moving world - like if Superman and your favorite uncle had a baby, and that baby loved bubble wrap.First off, the team showed up “on time”. Like, “punctual” on time. I was sipping my third coffee of the morning, mentally preparing to tackle the “heavy lifting” (read: crying into a box labeled “Dishes? Maybe?”), when these giants in big blue truck arrived with grins and a plan that didn’t involve me lifting anything heavier than my existential dread.- They managed to fit my “collections” (read: 17 unread books and a suspiciously large amount of expired cereal) into the truck like Tetris champions.- When I nervously asked if my lamp—a fragile heirloom passed down from my grandma (who “actually” just bought it at Walmart)—would survive, the foreman mover deadpanned, “Ma’am, we once moved a grand piano through a second-story window. Your lamp’s got a VIP seat.”- They even helped me assemble my bed post-move while I napped on the floor like a dignitary.Collin’s Family Movers isn’t just a moving company - they’re the anti-panic buttons of Goodyear. If you’re considering them, do it! They’ll move your stuff, maybe your soul, and definitely your stress into the recycling bin where it belongs.

Talk about first class service. I was a wreck with figuring out my move from Chicago to Phoenix but Richard and his team came to my rescue. From start to finish the communication was spot on. They were early to pack up my house and even help with things around my house they didn't need to. Very respectful and professional as they went about their business. Throughout my trip I was nervous with my Harley Davidson in their care but I don't think anyone including me has ever treated her better. Richard and his team put me at ease as my Harley and entire life made their way across country. They kept updating me and even sent some pictures of my Harley on the way in different states. Loved it! Made me feel I was there the whole time but no hassle or LIFTING!!! They got to the destination perfectly on time and again went above and beyond with helping me get organized. With this service cost was no issue but what they charged me after all said and done made me a very happy customer. Beat pretty much everyone I called.
